The Progressive People’s Party (PPP), has vowed to snatch the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) constituency seat from the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) Samuel Atta-Mills.
According to the PPP, lack of vigilance on their part, during the 2016 polls cost them the election, but they are poised to win it this time round.
In a Citi News interview, the National Secretary of PPP, Paa Kow Ackon said the party’s campaign team has been vigorously spreading their message of change in the constituency to ensure that their candidate, John Sterlin emerges victorious come December 2020.
“The message is resonating well with the people and the feedback has been good. We would have won the election in 2016. We have identified some of the mistakes we made, and we are correcting them. There were a number of things that were done behind our back. We will ensure that whatever went on in 2016 does not repeat itself. We are on our feet and are going to be more vigilant.”
“We will also deploy agents to all the polling stations to ensure that nobody short-changes us. We are confident that John Sterlin shall be declared the winner for the constituency,” he added.
