A commercial motorcyclist has been killed at Ashongman.
He is believed to have been attacked and his motorbike stolen on Saturday dawn.
The victim’s identity has not been made public.
According to residents of the area, this is the eighth of such incidents that have occurred there resulting in four deaths so far.
The Vice-Chair of the Mountain View Residents Association, a suburb of Ashongman, Raphael Kponuglo, said the situation has put residents in a state of fear.
“From January to now we recorded about six killings with Okada people. Armed robbery is now a serious thing. They jump into people’s house and take your belongings.”
