The Electoral Commission (EC) has established a toll-free call centre to enable voters to relay their concerns and difficulties on election day.
It says the “initiative is to provide prompt responses to voters to improve the voting experiences on election day.”
The Commission clarified that the centre will be managed by its trained staff.
The EC made this known in a press statement issued today, Thursday, December 3, 2020.
“The Electoral Commission of Ghana wishes to inform the Public that ahead of the General Election next week, it has established a Call Centre to enable voters to relay their concerns and feedback to the Commission on the Election Day.”
“The Call Centre will be managed by trained staff of the Commission. The objective of this initiative is to provide prompt responses to Voters to improve the voting experiences on Election Day.”
The Commission further noted that, “Toll-Free number 0800-100-100 has been secured for this purpose. As such callers will not be charged for calls made to the Toll-Free Number.”
