George Andah has lost his bid for re-election in the Awutu Senya West constituency.

He lost out to the National Democratic Congress; (NDC) Gizella Tetteh, who’s sister, Hanna Tetteh, he defeated in the 2016 election.

Hanna Tetteh was then the incumbent MP for the area.

Mr. Andah polled 29,832 to Ms. Tetteh’s 32,708.

The two were followed by Edith Azonyrah of the Ghana Union Movement with 676 votes and Samuel Yawson, of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) with 193 votes.
