The Joseph Osei Djaba Foundation has donated some items to the governing New Patriotic Party in the New Juabeng North Constituency of the Eastern Region to support the party’s campaign towards the December 7th Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
The items donated include 1,000 hand sanitizers to enhance adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols, Party T- Shirts, Flyers and other paraphernalia costing about GHS 40,000.
Speaking to the media after the donation, Executive Director of the Foundation, Joseph Osei Djaba, said the move is to support the good course President Akufo-Addo is embarking on for the good people of Ghana.
“I am very excited to donate these wonderful items to the party in this crucial moment. My focus is to support the party to ensure a massive win in the upcoming elections in both parliamentary and presidential. I believe in NPP and the good course the government is embarking especially the Free SHS policy “he said.
Osei Djaba also took the opportunity to call on all Ghanaians to vote in peace despite the differences in ideologies and also observe the COVID-19 safety protocols.
“Let’s see ourselves as one people and one nation. Let’s all go out in our numbers to vote wisely devoid of violence. Let’s make sure we also respect all the COVID-19 safety protocols set aside by government”.
The incumbent MP of the New Juabeng North Constituency, Hon. Adjei Boateng, who received the items on behalf of the party, commended Mr. Osei Djaba for the gesture.
“The NPP party is really grateful for this donation. We hope to make good use of them so that we can win more votes for the party especially the floating voters in the Constituency”, he said.
Earlier this year, the Joseph Osei Djaba Foundation donated some items including exercise books, pen and pencils and other educational materials to various Junior High Schools across the New Juabeng North Constituency.
