Former parliamentary aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bole-Bamboi constituency, Kumah Abolasum, has donated some items to the party’s campaign in the constituency.
Mr. Abolasum, who contested the party’s parliamentary primaries, donated 20 bags of cement towards the building of a constituency office, GHS8000 worth of drugs for free health screening, 200 branded t-shirts, sewing machines, 5 hair dryers, 10 mobile phones and other items.
As he presented the items, Mr. Abolasum said that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has more than fulfilled his promises to Ghanaians, hence the need for all party members to support the campaign for his reelection.
He added that although the National Democratic Congress (NDC) leader, John Mahama, hails from the Bole-Bamboi constituency, the NPP has outperformed the NDC there. Mr. Abolasum therefore called on party members to promote the achievements of the party in the constituency.
The NPP parliamentary candidate for Bole-Bamboi, David Sei Demah, commended Mr. Abolasum for his support.
“You have shown that you are a true patriot for supporting my campaign, though you lost to me in the primaries. These are the things that are making us win this seat for the first time” Mr. Demah said.
