The National Executives of Kumasi High School Old Students Association (2003 batch) have congratulated the newly elected Member of Parliament for New Edubiase Constituency, Abdul Salam Adams.
The association in a statement issued on Wednesday expressed excitement on the victory of Mr Adams and itched him to stay strong as he gets set to serve mother Ghana in one of the high offices in the political domain.
“We are elated that you have gotten the mandate of the good people of New Edubiase to represent them in the next parliament. We believe in your transparency, expertise and honesty; which are key elements needed in the political domain. All this was inculcated in you during your education at Kumasi High School,” the release signed by the Secretary of the Association Edmund Okai Gyimah on behalf of the President Dennis Anane Boateng stated.
Mr Adams was elected as the new Member of Parliament for New Edubiase on December 7, 2020 on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after pulling 19,693 votes as against that of Mr George Oduro, the incumbent MP, who had 17,592 votes.
The 2003 “Mmerantee” further cautioned their colleague to go all out and make a great impact so that he can get the nod again from his people in 2024.
“We know you will make our nation proud and also make Kumasi High School (2003 batch) proud. You will definitely be a role model and a point of reference in the political history of Ghana. Go out and excel so that the next elections you will be victorious again,” it added.
