A former New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary aspirant in the Asante Akyem South Constituency of the Ashanti Region, William Yamoah has urged the youth in Ghana to actively support government’s national development agenda.
The former aspirant challenged the youth to contribute to Ghana’s socio-economic and political development.
“Take the destiny of the country into your hands, work hard to contribute to the socio-political and socio-economic development of Ghana. Desist from acts that will affect the peace and stability of our country,” he said in his Christmas message to the youth.
He also pledged the government’s commitment to meeting the needs of the youth in the country.
Mr Yamoah played a critical role in campaigning for votes for the NPP in the Asante Akyem South Constituency, ahead of the election.
He had said that the party will win all the 47 seats in the region.
He thus urged party executives to campaign vigorously to ensure the party stays in power for more years.
