The Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has donated some LED streetlights to all religious bodies and schools in the constituency.

The donation was made on Sunday, March 21, 2021.

This is the start of phase two of his “Operation Brighten Every Corner (OBEC)” initiative.

About 400 churches, 35 mosques and 150 schools benefited from the latest donation.

Mr. Ablakwa after the donation expressed his gratitude to the leadership of all faith-based organizations within the constituency.

“I am particularly grateful to the leadership of all faith-based associations in North Tongu for the peaceful coexistence, their continuous support which I do not take for granted and the focus on a collective agenda for progress.”

The first phase of the project started in 2020.

Within that phase, the MP took care of all streets and major pathways in the constituency.

In all, a total of 2,000 LED streetlights have been donated.
