The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin South, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour has made a donation to first-year Senior High School (SHS) and TVET students in the constituency.
The items donated included trunks and chop boxes and cash.
The donation was made on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at the MP’s private residence at Assin Adubiase.
According to Mr. Ntim Fordjour, the donation forms part of his aim and vision to develop the human capital in the constituency.
“This donation forms part of my modest support on their journey to greatness and together help remove socioeconomic barriers and support one another to attain an equitably educated society. This is part of many to come, and I am happy to have been able to help these young guys with bright futures ahead of them.”
The beneficiaries and their families expressed great joy and gratitude to him.
One of them said, “I am happy to be going to school and I had some difficulties, but this support from the MP has made me free now. I thank him and I pray to God to bless him, so he can do more for us (constituents).”
Another one also said, “This isn’t the first time he is doing this for us. He (Rev John Ntim Fordjour) has been very supportive to us, and we will also be grateful to him.”
