Gospel musician Nii Okai, will on Sunday, September 19, 2021, hold a special event in celebration of his birthday,  and in support of a worthy cause.

Organized by the Nii Okai Ministries and Associates, the ‘Nii Okai Birthday Concert’ will be live on CITI TV at 5:00pm on Sunday.

This Birthday Cover Edition is earmarked for the ‘Saving Hearts Foundation,’ an initiative that supports children with various heart-related diseases to undergo heart surgeries.

Apart from Nii Okai himself, there will be song ministrations by Maana Ampa-Sowah, Sheila, Joy Whitcomb, and Adwoa Asante-Frimpong.

Others are Dani Makafui, George Sekyi, Dorice Berkoh with support from the iChurch Choir.

The Forty Hearts Project under Nii Okai Saving Hearts Foundation was launched in September 2017 to mark his 40th birthday celebration.

To fulfill the above objective, the Foundation has embarked on numerous fundraising activities to help raise funds for the implementation of the Forty Hearts campaign.

Nii Okai is known for songs like ‘Moko Be’, ‘None Compares’, ‘Gye W’ayeyi’, and ‘Manyie Yesu Se’.
