The awarding Winning Cake Factory, Cake Elements, has been adjudged the ‘Best Events Cake Designer and Baker of the Year’ at the 3rd edition of the 2021 Ghana Event Industry Conference (GEIC) Gala and Awards night held at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
The award was in recognition of the company’s dedication and commitment to producing quality products in the events industry, as well as being highly respected for rendering great services to its clientele.
CEO of Cake Elements, Francisco Apenu Cofie, after receiving the awards on behalf of the company, expressed gratitude to the Board and Leadership of the GEIC, everyone who voted, and pledged to continue the hard work to sustain the brand.
“I am indeed very grateful to everyone who voted for us. I really appreciate the support so far. I hope this all-important award will motivate the team to work harder. I want to say a very big thank you to my wife Dr. Mrs. Makafui Apenu and clients across the country”, he said.
Francisco Apenu Cofie took the opportunity to further state that both himself and all the other nominees are winners and must work together to build an even better industry.
Cake Elements has been in existence for a few years and has made cakes for hundreds of events.
Notable among them was the birthday cake of Actor Majid Michel, the 70th birthday cake of Nana osae Nyampong VI, the wedding cake for the Prince of Talensi in the Northern Region, the wedding cake for Ambassador General Peter Blay’s daughter, and many others.
This year’s Ghana Event Industry Conference (GEIC) organized by the Event Vendors Association of Ghana (EVAG) was on the theme, “Resilience, Rethink, Redefine and Recreate”.
It was a platform created for operators in the event industry to come together and promote a high level of ethics and professionalism within the industry.
The event was filled with so much fun and excitement as guests enjoyed amazing performances from the Mystro Kojo Antwi, Kuame Eugene, Adina, and Camidoh.
