An award scheme has been announced to honour students from the various technical universities in the country.

The award which will be organised by Kampusstyle is dubbed: Tech Eminence Awards and will be held in February 2022.

Below is a press statement announcing the awards scheme:

Technical University students over the years have been doing very well in various disciplines. Contributing in areas like engineering, business, sports, entertainment, media amongst others. However, little effort has been seen as far as rewarding them and appreciating their efforts is concerned.

Kampusstyle which is an event organising company and an online media house, has introduced the TECH EMINENCE AWARDS which is set to happen in February 2022.

The event is set to appreciate deserving efforts for the 2020/2021 academic year. A lot of categories have been made available for students from the various Technical Universities.

These include the innovative student of the year, student in science of the year, student in music, student in fashion amongst many others.

Other categories include the Outstanding Dean of Students Awards.

This award will be given to the Dean of Students who has contributed massively to students course and their activities.

This winner is expected to be someone students can easily approach regardless of the institution.

The event is expected to be an annual programme and expects to leave a mark that won’t be forgotten. This means that Technical University students who do well in various disciplines will be recognized annually.

Personalities who have passed through the Technical Universities and are currently contributing massively to their societies will also be appreciated.

Personalities like the Eastern Regional Minister, Mr. Seth Acheampong, Dominic Eduah of GNPC, and Madam Nancy Derry just to mention a few.

Winners from the student categories, apart from getting plaque prizes, will also get the opportunity to be groomed by well-known personalities in the industry where they perform.
