World-renowned social selling beauty company, Oriflame has launched its first-ever catalogue in Accra in line with the company’s strategy of further expanding its geographical footprint in Africa.

Oriflame was established in 1967 in Central Stockholm, Sweden. Currently, the beauty company is present in over 60 markets with over 3 million independent Brand Partners who share, promote and sell beauty products.

Addressing the media at a colourful ceremony in Accra, Country Director for Oriflame Ghana, Anna Orishchenko, said Oriflame decided to open in Ghana to change the lives of Ghanaian women and men.

“Beauty by Sweden is the combination of how you look, live, and feel, and is the very essence of what makes everything about Oriflame unique. Because we’re from Sweden, we have a different – and holistic view on beauty. For us, it’s not only how you look, but how you live, feel and act. It’s a way of life: To be healthy, enjoy beautiful skin, express yourself and have fun. It’s about being confident in who you are and finding balance in life. A balance that comes from the inside and out – that puts you in control no matter what life throws at you”, she said.

“We also believe in a responsible beauty, creating safe products that are inspired by nature and powered by science. Products – with eco-ethically screened ingredients – that you can believe in and stand by. That’s Beauty by Sweden – our way of helping you live a healthier, more beautiful life”, she said.

According to the Senior Vice President in charge of Geographical Expansion, Sergey Kanashin, Oriflame Ghana offers an opportunity to interested individuals to become part of the beauty industry by recommending and selling high quality, beauty products created in Sweden.

“Our biggest mission is to give people an opportunity to become financially independent because our business model enabled people to build their own business, create their networks through the recommendations, through training, explanation and the love they share of our products”, he said.

“We will offer assortment of more than 200 different products for beauty. This comes in fragrances, skincare and makeup in personal care which will enable already beautiful women to highlight their natural beauty and preserve the beauty. Also, the strongest focus in our cosmetics is anti-ageing systems. So, we have made a lot of research, we have our own institution in Sweden where about 100 scientists are working, and we know that about 80 percent of ageing sites can be reverted ”, he said.

On his part, the Vice President of Turkey and Africa, Johan Larsson said, “We stand for safety, we stand for trust and that is the same when it comes to our products. We are manufacturing our products with the highest quality of natural ingredients combined with the best science. So, we have an R&D department with more than 100 people developing our products internally, and we are following the strictest quality and safety restrictions in Europe”.

With Oriflame, Ghanaians can make money from day one, build a business and earn the opportunity to travel the world together. Join the global community of like-minded beauty lovers!
