Malta Guinness, Ghana’s premium malt drink, has joined the list of companies sponsoring the 2022 edition of Citi FM and Citi TV’s Heritage Caravan.
The Corporate Communications Manager for Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC, Philip Ashon, explained that this year’s caravan will afford the company an opportunity to celebrate Ghanaian heritage in a special way.
“We are raising a glass of Malta Guinness and toasting this amazing country. We say Cheers to Ghana. Cheers to the Ghanaian farmers who source raw materials, Cheers to the Ghanaian people who work hard to build our favorite Malt drink, Malta Guinness, that we all so much enjoy today. We believe that it is time to take the much needed step to celebrate our country, region by region”
“You can’t think about any other platform currently, within a month of March that celebrates Ghanaian heritage or celebrates who we are as a people, our music, our drinks, our food much more than the Heritage Caravan series,” he said.
The Heritage Caravan, which has had impressive patronage so far, will be touring 8 regions of Ghana for 7 days; from March 5 to March 12, 2022, in the most epic way.
“Malta Guinness is bringing the ultimate Ghanaian experience on board the heritage caravan. Together, we are going to experience and celebrate the beauty of each region in Ghana while sipping on a premium product that’s made in Ghana.
Explore its lengths and depths as we appreciate our culture, our produce and of course our heritage. This is for us the ultimate cheers to Ghana.”
This year, the Caravan will start from the Greater Accra Region, and continue to the Central, Western, Bono, Northern, Upper East, Ashanti, and the Eastern Regions. It will make stops at historical sites in these regions, and patrons will have the opportunity to learn about compelling facts, and amazing cultural discoveries during these visits.
Aside from the education, exploration, and adventure anticipated for this year’s road trip, patrons will also be taken out on the razzle with a line-up of activities like a Bonfire Night, Boboobo display, a mini durbar with lots of local dishes and drinks, and the chance to form life-long bonds with other entrants.
