In a bid to support the promotion of Ghanaian heritage, Goil Company Limited is collaborating with Citi FM and Citi TV in the organization of this year’s Heritage Caravan.
This is the first time Goil is sponsoring the Heritage Caravan, a week-long trip that gives participants an opportunity to encounter the rich culture, dynamic traditions, and history of Ghana uniquely.
The Heritage Caravan will be touring eight regions of Ghana for seven days from March 5, to March 12.
The tour will start from the Greater Accra Region, and continue to the Central, Western, Bono, Northern, Upper East, Ashanti, and the Eastern Regions.
It will make stops at historical sites in these regions, and patrons will have the opportunity to learn about compelling facts, and amazing cultural discoveries during these visits.
The Caravan has drawn local and foreign tourists from various backgrounds to experience and learn about Ghana’s beautiful culture.
The line-up of activities such as Boboobo display, Bonfire Night, and food bazaar with diverse local dishes and drinks will serve as a remarkable side attraction for patrons.
The Public Relations Officer of Goil Company Limited, Robert Kyere, explained the company’s reason for joining the Caravan, saying “We have our proud Ghanaian identity to show as the biggest oil marketing entity. So it is important that we showcase our identity and heritage and connect with the people out there.”
