The most anticipated DJ battle, ‘Y Clash of the DJs’, organized by Ghana’s number urban radio, YFM, has partnered leading premium high-definition satellite broadcast service provider, SES HD PLUS Ghana to give Ghanaian best of quality entertainment.

The third edition of the ‘Y Clash of the DJs’ dubbed: ‘One Sound, One Tribe’, slated for April 15 in Takoradi, will see A-list DJs from the triangle (Y97.9FM Takoradi, Y107.9 FM Accra and Y102.5 FM Kumasi) go head-to-head in an epic musical atmosphere battling in selection, transitions, mixes, rhythm and pulse.

However, the 2022 edition promises to be on another new level as it collaborates with SES HD PLUS Ghana’s ‘HD+ Keteke’ roadshow. The HD Keteke roadshow, which started in Techiman on March 18, will move to Takoradi on April 15, for exclusive coverage of the hottest DJ battle, ‘Y Clash of the DJs’.

The ‘HD+ Keteke roadshow’ will feature Ghanaian actor, Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobetu and supported by popular musicians such as the ‘Sugercane’ hitmaker, Camidoh and ‘Rapper of the Year’ at the just ended 3Music Awards, Amerado Burner among others.

Speaking on the collaboration, Osei Kuffour, Head of the YFM Triangle expressed his appreciation to SES HD PLUS Ghana for the worthy partnership.

“Throughout the history of YFM, we have given nothing but the best and quality entertainment to Ghanaians and to our listeners across the world. As such, we want to bring a new dimension to the third edition of the most epic sound battle, the ‘Y Clash of the DJs’, hence our collaboration with SES HD PLUS Ghana. They are the country’s premium high-definition satellite broadcast service provider so we thought it wise to bring onboard the ‘HD+ Keteke’ to Takoradi on the 15th of April.”

On her part, Mrs Adelaide Abbiw-Williams, Head of Marketing at SES HD PLUS GH said, “The HD+ Keteke roadshow allows us to get closer to our customers and share the story about how HD+ delivers high-definition world class TV viewing experiences to homes in Ghana. YFM is the leading entertainment and music channel for the youth and our partnership will ensure that the visit of the HD+ Keteke roadshow to Takoradi is memorable. Residents in and around Takoradi should expect an exciting line up of celebrities, drama and music”.

The tour will start with a float through the principal streets of Sekondi as well as Takoradi on 14th April and will be climaxed with a musical concert the following evening.
