New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary Aspirant, Justin Frimpong Kodua has commended workers for their contributions towards the sustenance of society.

“Undoubtedly, the determination, perseverance and untiring efforts of workers all over the globe provide the necessary support base of their respective economies and define the socio-economic lives of their people,” he said in a statement.

Mr. Kodua said Ghanaians deserve commendation for their hardwork towards reviving the economy which was affected by the Covid-19.

“Taking a retrospective look at the Ghanaian economy from a year or two ago, we, Ghanaians, are justified in our self-praise for our diverse contributions to the rebuilding of an economy wrecked by a global pandemic and various forms of strife, which virtually threatened to shut down the entire world economies.”

Below is the full statement from Mr. Kodua

LAWYER JUSTIN FRIMPONG KODUA (JFK) EXTENDS “AYEKOO” TO ALL WORKERS

Today, Ghana joins the rest of the world to commemorate yet another milestone in the history of workers.

On this special day, I celebrate the first employee and the final appointing authority of our country, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo; the Second Gentleman of our land, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, their respective spouses; government officials; ministers, parliamentarians; CEOs of various institutions; the entire public and civil servants; the clergy and, indeed, all private, and informal sector workers who have contributed immensely towards the sustenance of society.

Undoubtedly, the determination, perseverance and untiring efforts of workers all over the globe provide the necessary support base of their respective economies and define the socio-economic lives of their people.

Taking a retrospective look at the Ghanaian economy from a year or two ago, we, Ghanaians, are justified in our self-praise for our diverse contributions to the rebuilding of an economy wrecked by a global pandemic and various forms of strife, which virtually threatened to shut down the entire world economies. In this regard, the resilience and fortitude of the Ghanaian worker really deserves special mention and recognition.

Under his Presidency, His Excellency, the, President, has set the “Ghana Beyond Aid Agenda”, the success of which hinges heavily on our workers. As a country, we ought to pursue this vision with persistence, commitment and selflessness, and we shall surely get there.

On this special occasion, I say “Ayekoo” to all Ghanaian workers and wish you a wonderful celebration.

LAWYER JUSTIN FRIMPONG KODUA (JFK)
(GENERAL SECRETARY HOPEFUL, NPP)
