I received a cool 1GB of data and minutes for calls after successfully registering my Vodafone SIM. This is awesome, and it came at the perfect moment for me because I wanted to make some phone calls and use the internet.
Per the directive by the government, we have barely two weeks until the deadline given for the SIM card re-registration, which is scheduled to end on 31st July 2022. For those who are yet to complete the process, it is this simple!
The first thing you need to do is link your Ghana card.
The two-step approach starts by linking your Ghana Card with your SIM Card. This is a very simple step that requires customers to dial *404# or visiting www.vodafone.com.gh/sim/ to link their Ghana Cards with the SIM. You will receive a code after successfully linking your card. This step is straightforward and easy to complete.
The Next Step Is to Capture Your Biometric Information
Customers must have their Ghana Card, Ghana Post GPS address and unique code, which is generated from the first step. You can retrieve this code by dialling *404#.
Vodafone customers can visit any of its registration centres and retail shops across the country to complete the process. Click this link Sim Registration – Centres | Vodafone Ghana to see Vodafone’s list of registration centres by choosing the region.
I was thrilled to learn that employees of Vodafone have been trained and given the interface necessary to assist in capturing customers’ biometric information. It would be a good idea to get in touch with a buddy who works at Vodafone.
To top it all off, you will receive 1 GB of data and minutes of talk time to talk to friends and loved ones.
