It was an exciting nerve-racking experience at the Stephen Appiah Astro Turf in Mamprobi, where the Youth wing of the New Patriotic Party in Ablekuma South Constituency, hosted the Youth wing of the NPP in Ablekuma Central.

Both teams displayed good showmanship and talents on the field of play to the admiration of their teeming supporters who thronged to the park in their numbers to cheer their respective teams.

However, the gallant youth of Ablekuma Central, the away team, rather looked more organized, motivated, and strong-spirited.

Present at the Friday night game were personalities including Mr. Jefferson Sackey, Deputy Director of Communications at the Jubilee House and NPP Parliamentary Candidate aspirant for the Ablekuma Central Constituency.

During the halftime break, Mr. Sackey encouraged the players and urged them to give their best in the second half, assuring them of a winning bonus at the end of the match.

The 90mins football game, ended in a 2 -0 Victory in favor of the Ablekuma Central side, amidst cheers and merry-making by the fans of the winning team. Each player received a winning bonus as promised for raising the flag of Ablekuma Central high far beyond the borders of the Constituency.

Mr. Sackey, in addressing the Ablekuma Central team after the match, appreciated their collective efforts in securing Victory for the Constituency.

Prior to the football match, Mr. Jefferson Sackey presented a set of branded jerseys and 1,000 cedis donation to the leadership of the Youth Wing and transported the team.

A return encounter of the match has been fixed for Friday, May 12, 2023, at the Lord’s Wembley Park at Shukura in the Ablekuma Central Constituency.
