Former Member of Parliament and former National Coordinator of Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency (GYEEDA), Abuga Pele says he has not retired from active politics and will continue to work hard for the victory of the National Democratic COngress (NDC) in the 2024 national elections.
Mr. Pele who admonished delegates to vote wisely in electing a parliamentary candidate for the Chaina-Paga constituency reiterated the need for John Mahama to lead the party in the 2024 elections.
Speaking to the media at Sirigu during the presidential and parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Pele said he will support whoever wins the constituency primaries and help campaign to ensure the person wins to represent the Chaina-Paga constituency in Parliament.
“As you can see, I am here to vote, and I am still deeply involved in politics, maybe not from the angle from which some people may view it, but obviously, I am still a member of the party and I will continue to work hard for the party and whoever emerges as winner, we will all campaign to ensure that he wins to go to parliament.”
