Ghana Women’s Premier League champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies have been placed in Group B for the year’s CAF Women’s Champions League which will be hosted in the Ivory Coast.

Ampem Darkoa secured qualification to the CAF Women’s Champions League after beating Nigeria’s Delta Queens 1-0 in the final of the WAFU B qualifiers in Benin City, Nigeria.

Having earned their qualification, Ampem Darkoa now finds themselves in Group B alongside ASFAR Club, Huracanes FC, and AS Mande for the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The team is determined to outperform Hasaacas Ladies, who made it to the finals in the inaugural edition of the tournament but were defeated by Mamelodi Sundowns.
