The family of Rhodaline Amoah, the missing staff of the Lands Commission has offered a GH¢100,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts.

Two years after the 32-year-old’s disappearance, her family is still appealing for the public’s assistance in finding her, even as court proceedings face delays.

Dr. Wilberforce Aggrey, a lecturer at the Petroleum Department of the KNUST who is accused of kidnapping his wife is on trial at the Kumasi High Court.

The defense counsel cross-examined a third witness on Monday and the proceeding is expected to be concluded on the next adjourned date.

The Judge also granted a request by the defence counsel to release the vehicle of the accused, which has been impounded by the police as part of investigations.

Mother of the Missing Lands Commission Staff, Cecilia Obenewa Appiah visibly distressed and traumatized after court proceedings appealed for more public support to help find her daughter.

“I want to appeal to all Ghanaians and that is why we have put GH¢100,000 for whoever finds her or has knowledge of where she has been kept. It is my daughter that I need; it has been two years and it is not easy to bear with this situation.

“I need help and the help is that whoever kidnapped her, God should touch the person’s heart so that they give us information that will lead us to where she has been kept. It is my daughter that I need not the so many times we have been to court.”

The case has been adjourned to December 12, 2023.
