Old students from Senior High schools are being called upon to actively contribute to the advancement of their Alma Mater.
Bernard Martey Korley, President of the 1997 batch of Laboni SHS, issued this rallying cry during a reunion organized by the year group.
The event served as a dual occasion for reconnecting and reminiscing about school days, as well as fundraising for crucial developmental projects within the school.
For the first time in 27 years since completing their studies, the 1997-year group of Labone Senior High came together to relive their shared experiences.
Bernard Martey Korley outlined a series of projects aimed at improving the school’s overall infrastructure.
“We are dedicated to supporting the school in the realm of STEM education and enhancing existing facilities,” he declared. “Additionally, our goal is to motivate students to actively engage in extra-curricular activities.”
Listowel Agbeli, the National President of the Labone Old Students Association (LOSA), echoed the sentiment by urging former students to persist in supporting the school’s administration.
“In addition to our financial contributions, let us continue to actively support the school’s management,” he implored fellow alumni.
