The Director General of Ghana’s Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Service, Mawusi Awity, has lauded the sector’s remarkable progress attributing it to substantial government investment.
According to her, although the sector is performing tremendously, a lot still needs to be done and called on well-meaning Ghanaians to prioritise investment in TVET, underlining its crucial contribution to the nation’s growth agenda.
Speaking in an interview at a forum organised by the Dynamic Patriotic Ladies of the NPP in Ho, the Director General of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Mawusi Awity emphasised the government’s crucial role in sustaining and making TVET attractive for national growth.
Madam Mawusi Awity, however, called on stakeholders to prioritize support for TVET, highlighting its essential contribution to Ghana’s development agenda and economic progress.
Founder of the Dynamic Patriotic Ladies stated that, although women’s participation in politics is key, they need to be equipped with technical and vocational skills in their daily lives.
