The Tesano Methodist Society, Accra Diocese has broken ground for the construction of a chapel building on Sunday May 5, 2024.
This was led by the Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Emmanuel Borlabi Bortey and assisted by Joseph Eduam, the Diocesan Lay Chairman, among other key notable clergies.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Emmanuel Borlabi Bortey indicated that the edifice if completed will serve as a worship center for thousands of Christians.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by the Very Rev. Mrs. Doris Saah, Diocesan Synod, The Very Rev. Bennett Ato Wilson, superintendent Minister of the Kaneshie North Circuit, the Rev. His Worship Prince Osei Owusu, the circuit minister, Kaneshie North and the congregation at the Tesano Methodist Society.
Also present to grace the occasion were the former MP for Okaikoi North, Fuseini Issah, the Greater Accra Regional Minister Designate, Titus Glover and the MP for Okaikoi Central, Patrick Boamah.
