The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Akuapem South Constituency has suspended its activities following the sudden death of their Constituency Communications Officer, Windy Brown Boakye, popularly known as Governor.

The party received the news of Governor’s passing on Tuesday, 23rd July 2024.

In honour of Governor’s memory, the Constituency Party has directed that all party flags in the constituency fly at half-mast.

All party activities, including campaign activities, have been suspended until further notice.

The Constituency Chairman, Michael Ahwireng made this known in a statement issued on Wednesday.

He said these directives align with the party’s respect and condolences to the family of their deceased hero.

“We mourn with the families in these trying times. May the Good Lord grant him paradise. Amen,” he added.
