Day 2 of Channel One TV’s National Swimming Championship will continue this morning at the Aquatic Center at the Borteyman Sports Complex.

Over 200 swimmers will compete in various events, aiming to surpass their personal bests and secure podium finishes.

By the end of Sunday’s event at the Borteyman Sports Complex, the top swim team of the year will also be determined based on the number of medals won in various events.

Some swimmers from different swim teams have expressed their expectations for today’s events.

“My aim is still the same, do my personal best, for my team, I’m willing to go the extra mile to even exceed what I’m aiming to do.”

Another also said, “I hope to draw in almost everything I do, and just have fun.”

“I’m going to push in 50 fly, Rahman I’m coming for you, just to let you know.” another swimmer cheerfully stated.

A swimmer noted, “I think I’m going to get all of them first.”

Some parents also shared their thoughts with Citi News ahead of Day 2 at the Aquatic Center this morning.

Day One of the Channel One TV National Swimming Championship saw a vibrant display of aquatic prowess as more than 200 swimmers from various corners of the country took to the pools.

This prestigious event, now in its eagerly anticipated second edition, featured competitive swimmers representing a total of 12 distinguished teams, all vying fervently for coveted national recognition.

The championship, meticulously conducted in accordance with the rigorous regulations set forth by both World Aquatics and African Aquatics governing bodies, affirmed its status as a premier platform for nurturing and showcasing swimming excellence.
