Ghana’s Parliament experienced a blackout on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.

This is not the first time the legislative chamber has faced such an issue, especially during proceedings.

The most recent incident occurred in February when President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was presenting the State of the Nation Address (SONA).

Additionally, in March 2024, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) cut the power supply to the House due to a debt of GH¢23 million.
