The CEO of EDA Logistics Limited, Eric Dziedzom Akukumah, has won the 2024 Ghana’s Most Outstanding CEO in Logistics Services at the 2024 Ghana CEO Award.
The third edition of the Ghana CEO Awards, organised by Globe Productions at Kempinski Hotel themed “CEOs for Climate: Steering towards a Greener Future,” aimed to celebrate visionary leaders who drive positive change in the country.
The award acknowledged Akukumah’s contribution to Ghana’s economy through timely, quality services, consistently demonstrating leadership in innovation, networking, and commitment to the logistics industry, amongst others.
The recognition solidified EDA Logistics Limited’s position as a leading player in Ghana’s logistics sector while highlighting Akukumah’s role in driving innovation and excellence in the industry.
Akukumah, after the honour, expressed appreciation to everyone attributing the success to his team’s efforts and the loyalty of his clients.
He emphasised that this recognition is a testament to EDA Logistics Limited’s untiring commitment to surpassing client needs while upholding superior service quality.
The event was attended by numerous dignitaries, including representatives from the Vice President’s office, the Minister of Information, the British High Commissioner to Ghana, and various ambassadors and government officials.

He has over a decade of expertise in logistics and supply chain management. He holds an MSc in International Business. This presents His unique strength of doing business with partners from different cultures.
Under his leadership, the organization has achieved remarkable improvements in efficiency and spearheaded innovative approaches to supply chain management.
His initiatives have expanded the company’s global footprint and elevated client satisfaction levels.
The company now boasts an impressive client portfolio including prominent firms such as QGMI, First Sky, AKA Petroleum Ghana, Sinohydro, Gabriel Couto, Rango Construction, Viabuild and Odebrecht, among others among others.
Through the EDA Foundation, he has established the EDA Entrepreneurship Model Lecture Room at Cape Coast Technical University.
