Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor, has offered reasons why her colleagues are dying in quick succession.

The actress, popularly known as Mama G, while explaining in an interview with the Vanguard why she wept profusely at the burial of late comic actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu said most of her colleagues are careless that when they’re sick they go to the chemist instead of seeking medical attention at the Hospital.

According to the legendary Nollywood actress, “When you are doing something you are enjoying, you won’t bother to take care of your health. Once there is life in you, you keep doing what you are doing…And it’s something that pays back on your body.”

“Some people are so careless that when they are sick instead of going to the hospital for a proper check-up, they prefer to visit a chemist or a pharmacy to buy a pain reliever. It’s no longer safe with me. I don’t know how many people are thinking like myself.” She added

Patience Ozokwor advised her colleagues to take their health seriously by going for frequent check-ups
