Delta Air Lines has begun rolling out fast, free Wi-Fi presented by T-Mobile on select long-haul international routes, marking a significant milestone in its goal to offer reliable, streaming-quality connectivity on its entire global fleet at no cost.

The airline expects most transatlantic flights to be equipped with free Wi-Fi by the end of the summer.

This expansion builds on Delta’s industry-leading Wi-Fi rollout, which already offers free, streaming-quality connectivity on nearly 700 domestic mainline aircraft, covering over 90% of its domestic fleet.

By the end of the year, the vast majority of Delta customers will have access to free Wi-Fi. “As we continue to roll out fast, free Wi-Fi, we’re able to serve customers in new and innovative ways,” said Ranjan Goswami, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience Design.

He added, “The scale of our free Wi-Fi rollout is unmatched in the industry, and it’s a testament to the hard work of Delta teams who have navigated a complex rollout.”
