William Yamoah, Director of Finance and Administration for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called on Ghanaians to support Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s new political approach.

Yamoah emphasised the need to shift from traditional politics to one focused on issues, innovation, and bold ideas that can drive socio-economic development and strengthen democracy.

“We stand at a crossroads as a country—a critical moment where the choices we make come December 7, 2024, will undoubtedly shape the future of our democracy, our country’s economic development, and our people’s prosperity,” Yamoah stated.

He urged citizens to reject the politics of insults and division, advocating instead for a politics that addresses real issues affecting daily lives, such as quality education, affordable healthcare, and job creation.

Yamoah highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s achievements, including the introduction of drone delivery services to enhance healthcare access in remote areas. He stressed that affordable, accessible healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and praised Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to expanding healthcare services.

On economic development, Yamoah noted Dr. Bawumia’s vision for investing in future industries like green energy, technology, and manufacturing to create sustainable, well-paying jobs. He called for innovative solutions that challenge the status quo and push the nation forward.

“This is not a campaign about Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. It’s about us. It’s about our shared future,” Yamoah concluded, urging Ghanaians to embrace a politics that champions bold ideas and transformative change.

The NPP’s call for a new kind of politics has sparked discussions nationwide, with many looking forward to the upcoming elections and the potential for a brighter, more prosperous future.
