Enoch Sackey, the father of Edward Borketey Sackey, the O’Reilly Senior High School student who was fatally stabbed by a colleague, has vowed to take legal action against the school’s management.
The incident, which occurred during an argument over whose father was wealthier, has left the school community in shock.
According to initial reports, the two students engaged in a heated argument that escalated into a physical confrontation, resulting in the suspect allegedly stabbing the victim three times with a sharp object.
The victim was rushed to the LEKMA hospital by fellow students but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
In an interview with Channel One News, Enoch Sackey expressed his intention to hold the school responsible for his son’s death.
He said, “the boy is my son, and the intentions of the family is to sue the school. We have to hold the school responsible. We want the school authorities to come out to tell us why such a thing would happen in a school premises.”
“Why the teachers didn’t try to interfere, they all behaved unconcerned until my son passed away so we would want to hold the school responsible, to sue them to court. That’s the intention of the family.”
Meanwhile, the student who allegedly stabbed the deceased is currently in the Police custody assisting investigation.
