The 2024 ‘This Is Ghana’ Exhibition came alive with vibrant colours and bustling activity at the Forecourt of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly.
Vendors from across the country gathered to showcase their unique products, creating an electric atmosphere. The exhibition has become a dynamic hub, featuring a wide array of locally made goods and services.
From fashion and agriculture to technology and crafts, the event was a testament to Ghanaian creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
The energy remained high on the second day, with vendors forging new connections, forming partnerships, and making significant sales.
The ‘This Is Ghana’ Exhibition was more than just a showcase—it was a celebration of Ghanaian entrepreneurship and innovation.
As the sun set, vendors packed up their wares, exhausted but exhilarated by the success of the two-day event.
Solomon Abiam, Marketing Manager of Massim Foods, expressed pride in his team’s participation. “Sales have been strong,” he said. “Though we had a slow start in the morning, the afternoon and evening were very successful. Kudos to Channel One TV for organizing this event.
“We need more of these opportunities. We’ve participated in previous exhibitions and look forward to continuing our partnership to promote our products globally. The exposure has been fantastic.”
Bennetta Mantebea Mante Avevor, Sales Representative at Kuura Beauty Incorporated, also shared a positive experience. “It’s been great. We’ve made many valuable contacts, and our Ghana-made natural products have been well-received. We offer solutions tailored to African hair needs, including conditioner, shampoo, and treatments for hair breakage.”
Christian Baah, a representative of WIPE SOAP, noted similar success. “Sales have been good, and there’s a strong embrace of made-in-Ghana products. We offer a range of items, including toilet cleaner, disinfectant, glass cleaner, and dishwashing soap.”
Helina Zobil of Fragroma reflected on the exhibition’s success. “This is our second time participating, and it’s been incredibly successful. Since arriving on Saturday, we’ve made a lot of sales. I can confidently say this is the best fair we’ve attended so far. The sales and overall experience have been exceptional. We specialize in handmade products like batik, tie-dye, silk, and crafts.”
Joshua Anyinbra of Croitel, which sells dried pineapple, mango, and coconut, was also pleased. “Sales have been good, and we’re happy with our participation. The experience has been great, and we’re definitely coming back next year.”
Christian Baah, a Representative with WIPE SOAP, also reported a successful experience.
“Sales have been good, and Ghanaians are embracing made-in-Ghana products. We offer a variety of products, including toilet cleaner, toilet disinfectant, glass cleaner, and dishwashing soap.”
Abdul-Hamid, owner of Rouje Naturel, shared her excitement about the impressive turnout. “The experience has been fantastic since Saturday. Sales were strong both days, and I had the opportunity to network with wholesalers, delivery personnel, and potential customers. I hope to continue these connections and grow the brand. Thanks to Channel One TV for this opportunity.”
Patricia Gweliwo-Asuming, owner of Native Allure, noted the event’s positive impact on her confidence. “This was my first time at the exhibition, and it has greatly boosted my brand confidence. The experience has been fantastic, and meeting new people has been invaluable.”
