The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has rescheduled its Presidential Evening Encounter with the founder and leader of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar.
This comes after Cheddar pulled out of the encounter after he was expected to make an appearance on Wednesday, September 18.
A brief statement by the IEA explained that ‘The Evening Encounter at the Institute of Economic Affairs scheduled for today 18 September 2024 with the New Force Movement has been rescheduled because of unavoidable circumstances. A new date will be announced in due course.’
IEA released timelines for its presidential evening encounters and debates on Friday, September 13, with the leader of the New Force Movement slated for Wednesday to be followed by Alan Kyerematen who is expected to make an appearance on September 24.
IEA also announced October 22 and November 19, 2024, for its first and second presidential debates respectively.
