Angry residents of Agric-Nwamase in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region on Thursday blocked major routes leading to the community to protest what they say is a neglect by the government in providing essential infrastructure including roads.

Residents lament that authorities have failed to address concerns about the deteriorating state of education and health infrastructure as well as the road network in the area despite persistent appeals.

The residents poured onto the streets to protest over delays in fixing deplorable roads and other amenities.

The protesters have warned of disrupting the December 7 polls if authorities fail to address the concerns before voting day.
