Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah has officially been declared the winner of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) presidential primary.
At the end of the polls, the total votes cast were 1,360.
Out of that, Yaw Anokye Frimpong had 586 while Ms Kumankumah garnered 763.
Rejected ballots were 11. The CPP held the primary today.
Addressing the media after her election, she said “Once one person has won and especially when it is so decisive we only need to have unity moving forward.
