Nick Gonyuie, an aspiring Member of Parliament for Ho West on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ticket, has pledged significant development for the constituency if given the mandate.
Speaking during the submission of his nomination form to contest the Ho West seat, Gonyuie outlined six key initiatives he plans to implement to drive growth in the area.
He emphasized that after 32 years of being represented by the National Democratic Congress (NDC), little progress has been made.
He urged voters to consider a fresh perspective, particularly from the NPP, to bring meaningful development.
Among his promises, Gonyuie highlighted his vision of transforming Ho West into a trade and commerce hub, tapping into the constituency’s potential to boost economic activity.
He also stressed plans to invest in the tourism sector and bring in investors to spur growth in various industries.
According to him, agriculture, which remains a major sector in the region, would be modernized under his leadership.
Gonyuie said he would work to make farming more attractive to the youth, ensuring it becomes a viable employment avenue.
Additionally, he vowed to improve the constituency’s road networks, many of which are in poor condition, and to prioritize industrialization efforts to create job opportunities for the youth.
Gonyuie called on voters to support his candidacy, assuring them that he would deliver tangible improvements and represent their interests in parliament.
