Hollard Ghana, as part of its three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR), has successfully hosted this year’s mentorship programme.

The event, titled “A Better Future: Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders,” aimed to equip young professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the corporate world.

Stephen Atuah Oppong, a Supply Chain Expert, shared his insights on “How I Prepared for My Future as a Young Person.”

He emphasised the importance of developing critical skills and strategies to succeed in today’s competitive job market.

Mr. Oppong encouraged students to be proactive in enhancing their abilities and to embrace continuous learning as they transition into the dynamic professional environment.

Ms. Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo, Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Hollard Ghana, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to nurturing and guiding young talent for a brighter future.

“As you prepare to enter the job market, it’s crucial to adopt the right entrepreneurial mindset and strategies. At Hollard, we’re excited to be here as mentors, sharing our knowledge and experiences to help you navigate the challenges of your future careers,” she stated.

Ms. Ofori-Dwumfuo also stressed the importance of self-empowerment for students as they approach the job market.

“This mentorship session offers an interactive platform for students to engage with industry professionals.

Hollard Ghana’s team of experts is here to provide guidance on career paths, resume building, and interview techniques.”

She further encouraged the public to view insurance positively, highlighting its role in securing a stable future.
