Dr. Frank Owusu-Sekyere has taken the reins as the acting CEO of Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, effective October 6, 2024.

His appointment was made by the hospital’s Board of Directors, following the end of Dr. Opoku Ware Prempeh’s four-year term on October 5.

As the former Director of Medical Affairs at Korle-Bu, Dr. Owusu-Sekyere brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

The hospital’s management in a statement dated Tuesday, October 8, expressed confidence in his exceptional qualities, citing his ability to lead the hospital effectively.

“His extensive experience and deep commitment to healthcare position him well to lead the hospital during this transitional period.”
