The third day of the ongoing anti-galamsey protest has seen a significant boost in support as prominent figures, including actor and politician John Dumelo and social media influencer Afia Odo, joined the demonstrators.

The protest, which aims to draw attention to the devastating effects of illegal mining (galamsey) on the environment, has been gaining momentum for the past three days.

The protestors are on with their energetic protest amidst singing and dancing.

Organised by the pressure group Concerned Citizens Against Galamsey, the protest seeks to highlight the severe environmental destruction caused by illegal mining, commonly referred to as galamsey.
