An accident occurred on the Ashaiman stretch of the Tema Motorway at around 5 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
A video of the incident shows an overturned saloon car, which skidded off the road following light rains earlier that morning.
Two women were in the vehicle at the time of the accident and sustained serious injuries. Eyewitnesses quickly rushed them to the hospital for medical attention.
According to onlookers, the car was speeding when it veered off the road and somersaulted into a nearby bush.
By the time a reporter from Citi FM/Channel One News arrived at the scene, the victims had already been taken to the hospital.
