Hundreds of supporters of the Movement for Change, led by Akwasi Addai Odike, a former presidential aspirant of the United Progressive Party, took to the streets in a massive walk to mark the conclusion of Alan Kyerematen’s Greater Accra caravan campaign.
The procession began at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, winding through several main streets in Accra. Police provided security and guided the group to its final destination, where Kyerematen, an independent presidential candidate, is expected to address the crowd.
With the December 7 election just five weeks away, political parties and independent candidates alike are ramping up efforts to engage voters and solidify support.

The walk by the Movement for Change in Accra, on Saturday, November 2, is expected to gather momentum and draw attention to the ‘Yellow Butterfly Movement’.

According to Akwasi Addai Odike, different political parties and independent candidates, including the PNC, some defected CPP members, the Green Party, the Union Government, Dr. Abu Sakara and a host of others have decided to ally to meet the demands of Ghanaians calling for a united third force to break the duopoly of the NDC and NPP.

Hence, they have decided to unite behind Alan Kyerematen to wrestle power in the December 2024 elections.
