President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo officially opened the facility on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, in Accra. The ceremony was attended by key government officials, BoG leadership, and notable figures from Ghana’s financial sector.
Located in the heart of Accra, Bank Square features innovative architecture and advanced technology, showcasing the central bank’s commitment to operational excellence and economic resilience.
This state-of-the-art facility is set to enhance the BoG’s ability to regulate and oversee Ghana’s evolving financial system effectively. It also aligns with the government’s broader agenda to promote economic stability and foster growth within the financial sector.
