The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has assured Ghanaians of massive infrastructural development across Ghana if her party wins the December 7 general elections.
Prof Opoku-Agyemang said this when she paid a courtesy call on the Overlord of the Waala Traditional Council, Naa Seidu Pelpuo IV, at his palace in Wa to commence her two-day campaign tour of the Upper West Region.
She accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of discriminating when it comes to the development of the country and vowed to share the national cake without bias.
“Unlike the NDC that takes care of everybody, our opponents [the NPP] don’t necessarily do so. They have already told us about people who don’t vote for them and for which reason they don’t pay attention to them. So, what this means is that our parliamentary candidates have suffered for eight years.
“It means that whatever they could have done has been denied them because they voted for the NDC. This will not stop any of them or any of us from voting for a government that brings interventions such as the road you have requested for everybody’s benefit.”
