The founder of the World Ambassadors of Hope Foundation (WAOH), Aku Tarras-Wahlberg has met the Swedish King Carl Gustaf Folke Hubertus and Swedish Queen, Sylvia Renate Sommerlath.
This was in service to the Swedish King and Queen on the 1st of October 2024, during a formal ceremony and a meeting among the highest church decision-making body in the Swedish Church.
The King of Sweden, born on 30 April 1946, ascended the throne on 15 September 1973. Carl XVI Gustaf is the seventh king of the House of Bernadotte and the longest reigning monarch in Swedish history. The King’s motto is: “For Sweden – With the times.”
The Queen of Sweden, Queen Silvia (born Silvia Renate Sommerlath; 23 December 1943), is Queen of Sweden as the wife of King Carl XVI Gustaf. She has held this title since her marriage to Carl Gustaf in 1976. The King and Queen have three children: Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Carl Philip, and Princess Madeleine.
Angela Aku Tarras-Wahlberg is originally a princess from Ghana, born Aku Sekpordorme Norviegbor Gaveh. Her late parents hail from the royal family, her late father being the King hailing from the Asadame Constituency of Ghana from the region of the Volta.
Angela Aku Tarras-Wahlberg is an Ambassador of Hope (www.waoh.se), founder of the World Ambassadors of Hope Foundation – WAOH, and also bears the honorary title of an Ambassador for Peace on the 9th of August 2008, in Oslo, Norway, by the Award body in connection with the United Nations.
Angela Tarras-Wahlberg encourages that meeting with the King and Queen of Sweden promotes peace and unification irrespective of background, race, and colour, in service to God and mankind.
