The Member of Parliament-elect for Okaikwei South, Ernest Adomako, popularly known as KEON, has credited his victory in the just-ended elections to his action-driven campaign strategy.

Speaking on Point Blank, a segment of Eyewitness News on Monday, December 30, 2024, KEON highlighted the significance of delivering tangible results to earn voters’ trust.

He acknowledged the high expectations from constituents and reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises and bringing meaningful development to Okaikwei South.

“Even though the seat has been for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) all these years, Okaikwei have been left behind in terms of development, especially our roads. So, we identified the problems within the constituency which the people are already aware of and I also proved to the electorate that I am ready to serve and to develop Okaikwei South.

“I didn’t want the message to be just a message. It came with actions by fixing the roads and others,” he stated.

In the just-ended elections, Ernest Adomako overturned a historical seat for the NPP by garnering 55.99% of the total votes cast, defeating the incumbent MP, Darkoa Newman, who received 42.18% of the votes.
