Some commercial banks have announced a temporary closure of in-branch banking operations on Saturday, December 7, due to the general elections.

Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) has confirmed that its branches will not offer Saturday banking services on Election day.

Customers are encouraged to use digital channels for transactions during this period.

Similarly, the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) has announced the suspension of banking services on election day and additional dates due to end-of-month maintenance.

Both banks have however, assured customers that ATMs and online platforms will remain operational.

Both banks have reaffirmed their commitment to supporting national processes while encouraging customers to utilize their digital platforms for seamless financial services.

Their decision underscores the significance of the upcoming elections and the potential impact on business operations nationwide.
