Ghanaian journalist Stephen Kofi Adomah has sustained an accidental gunshot injury to his eye.
The journalist was reportedly struck in the eye by gunpowder when musketry fired shots during a ceremony he attended in Dormaa.
According to reports, Kofi was positioned near the musketry when the accident occurred, though the exact timing of the incident remains unclear.
The news was revealed by his colleague and friend, Afia Pokuaa Vim Lady, in a Facebook post on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
In her post, Afia Pokuaa expressed deep concern for the Chief Executive Officer of Kofi TV and offered prayers for his recovery.
She wrote: “Yesu, Kofi, I’m praying for your full recovery and healing. Kofi Adomah, I have been panicking since hearing the news that you were shot in the eye. May the Lord work overtime on you.”
